Like any case competition, MMICC is first and foremost a rigorous business case challenge. All 12 participating schools are guaranteed a worry-free and fair competition. But our event is really recognized for its diverse program of activities, friendliness and spirit of inclusiveness. We also make sure that advisors have as much of a great time as our participants. Only at MMICC will you see an advisor singing karaoke with a fellow student, or being the first to race down the hill in snow tubes at Mont Saint-Sauveur!

MMICC is a great chance to discover our multicultural city, and get a short glimpse at what a Canadian winter looks like! Each year, we put on a world-class program with fun activities in various locations in downtown Montreal. If you don't bring a camera to Montreal, you'll regret it!

A unique format

Out of several similar world-class competitions, MMICC is the only one not to follow a “semi-finals” or “finals” format. Each team is given an equal opportunity by presenting twice (once for each judging panel). Hence, the format at McGill allows the judges to watch all 12 presentations before selecting the winners. There is absolutely no elimination round. The suspense holds until the very last minute!

Networking

Aside from gaining business savvy, participants can benefit from our event through the connections made between competitors, McGill students as well as our friends in the corporate world. The judges and representatives come from a variety of companies and fields centered in Montreal. Each year, they attend a few our functions to share their insights and experience with the participants. MMICC is a true networking event.
