Activities
Competition Events
The competitive portion includes the 24 hour-long case period and the final presentations. All students and advisors are also briefed on the rules and procedures surrounding the case at some point during the week. The winners are announced at a final closing dinner.
Networking Events
The case competition strives to bring the academic and professional worlds together by allowing participants to meet with top business executives and sponsors at our networking events. These may include cocktails, guest speakers and company-led presentations. The remaining social activities are opportunities for students to mingle and develop lifelong contacts. Meanwhile, the advisors also meet with the judges prior to the presentations during a traditional Judges & Advisors Luncheon.
Social Activities
Teams are treated with a succession of sightseeing, fine dining, nightlife and fun events, such as a scavenger hunt in Downtown Montreal or a day of snow tubing. While the level of competition is high, MMICC emphasizes the importance of developing international contacts, and allows guests to experience the best of what Montreal has to offer. In true McGill fashion, our case competition is an invitation to work hard and party hard.
