Description
The McGill Management International Case Competition is a world-class undergraduate competition with a focus on globalization, innovation and multi-disciplinary thinking. Founded in 2001, the event has welcomed schools from over 20 countries to date. Organized with the close collaboration of the Montreal business community, MMICC is one of McGill University's most prestigious events and the largest student-run event at the Desautels Faculty of Managemement.

Competition
- Multi-disciplinary case
- Selected each year by the Competition Advisor
- Team order determined by random draw
- 24 hours case period (22 in hotel, 2 at Faculty)
- Laptops and supplies provided

- Internet allowed for "light research" purposes
- 20 minute-long presentation
- 10 minute-long questions & answers
- 2 presentations per team (1 morning, 1 afternoon)
- 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners
Rules
- Revised annually and published in the Welcome Booklet
- Governed by the Competition Advisor
- Controlled and monitored by the Executive Committee
- Major interpretations are brought to the Appeals Committee
Appeals Committee
- Composed of Competition Advisor, 3 volunteering advisors and 1 backup
- 1 school advisor per region
- Determined by consensus prior to Opening Ceremonies
- Carries final interpretation power over the rules
